Une dédicace cachée dans la musique de Ravel - Revenir à l'index ...

A letter.

Le coeur de l'horloge
The mother knows the tempi.
Is she then the author of the music ?
Well, it could be. But our knowledge of Ravel's friends' life  is rather short, so, about their mothers, we may lack informations...
But a researcher has to find. Unless he has to find.. another job !
We will investigate other trails... and that, so French, of the doubt

If that letter was a fake ? If the transcription was erroneous ?
I concede that I am no graphologist but the handwriting is similar to Ravel's one. The key word "mother" is not the most readable, and, moreover, Ravel seems to write with a false orthography (mêre instead de mère) but I can't read here anything else.

(I don't know if it is the same for you, but knowing the big geniuses' mispellings heartens me a little when I confront to my spellchecker*...)

You have ten minutes to try to imagine why this mother could know so well the tempi
If you don't find anything in ten minutes, that's good. You are beginning to fell what it is like to be a researcher...

My "solution"...

.KLIKMI - KLIKMI - KLIKMI - KLIKMI.
* In fact, I don't have any... as you surely noticed.
